Kristin focuses her practice in the areas of probate and the post-mortem settlement of estates.
Prior to joining our team, Kristin was an attorney with another Boston boutique estate planning firm where she focused her practice in the area of Estate Administration.
Prior to relocating to the Boston area, Kristin practiced in New York State and was a founding partner at the law firm of Madden and Bouchard with a specialty in Family Law matters. Prior to forming Madden and Bouchard, Kristin was an Associate at the Davies Law Firm with a specialty in funding Living Trusts.
Kristin is trained as a mediator and a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation and the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.
Kristin earned her law degree from Boston University in 1997 where she was recognized as an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar, and her Bachelor of Arts Degree, magna cum laude, from St. Lawrence University with a double major in Economics and Government in 1994.
Outside of the office, Kristin has an extensive history of elected public service. In 2009, Kristin was elected to the Town of Canton Planning Board where she served for 5 years. She is currently on her second term as an elected member of the Canton School Committee.
Kristin lives in Canton, Massachusetts with her husband, Brett, and their three children.
