John E. Zurek, Esq.

John E. Zurek, Esq. is an Associate Attorney of the firm, working primarily in the areas of estate planning and trust administration. He has extensive experience in drafting a wide range of estate plan documents, including basic revocable trust plans as well as advanced planning techniques involving various types of irrevocable trusts. For the firm’s trust administration practice, he provides comprehensive support to trustees and beneficiaries, and has extensive experience in preparing fiduciary tax returns and trust accountings.

Prior to joining Squillace & Associates, P.C. in 2022, John was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City where he worked in the corporate department, primarily with the Entertainment and Investment Funds subgroups.

John earned a B.F.A., cum laude, from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and a J.D., Order of the Coif, from University of Southern California Gould School of Law with a certificate in Media & Entertainment Law. While in law school, he was a senior editor for the Southern California Law Review, a member of the International Human Rights Clinic, an intern in the Business Affairs Department of VICE Media LLC, and an intern to Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson on the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

John is admitted to practice in New York and California, and he works remotely from Southern California.
